This Vegetable Beef Soup is a normal combination of beef and a few vegetables. This soup is comforting, healthy and really delicious! Usually, these soups are made sour from tomato paste.
You can choose some kinds of vegetables of your choice (we choose potato, carrot, onion, etc). It’s usually served as a main meal and eat along with rice. It’s so filling and satisfying that you should try it.

- Carrot, potato, onion, garlic
- Fish sauce, chicken powder, salt, sugar
- Tomato paste
In a pot, heat the cooking oil and fry chopped garlic and onion a few seconds until sizzle.
Add your sliced beef and stir fry again another few seconds.
Season the dish with fish sauce, salt, chicken powder, and sugar. Stir fry the beef with those spices to let them mix flavors.
After that, pour the tomato sauce into a small bowl to make a sour soup. And simmer it for 1 minute before adding water.
Add your vegetables, such as carrot, potato zucchini, and onion. Let it cooked for another 5 minutes or until those vegetables are softened.
Taste for seasoning and adjust if needed. Add scallion and hot chili if you like. Dish out and enjoy your sour soup.
